The Smallest Vacation

Sometimes the smallest vacations make the biggest difference.  I have had a rotten New Year so far and was really missing my family.  Although I got to spend some time with them, it didn't feel like enough.  But...on Saturday my husband decided to take me across the border to Mexico.  We got there in time for lunch, had some great lobster, and checked into our room with a soothing view.  We watched the sunset on the beach, then went to bed early.  Ahhh...I finally feel ready to face the world again.

  2. And I take it there was no tv? So you had time to focus enough to write a short but sweet blog post? I'm glad you are ready to face the world. I wish you all the best for the new year, and may all your dreams come true.
