Stolen days

Yesterday I was supposed to work, but it was so slow that I was able to leave after only 4hours. My husband didn't have school so we were able to have a free day together. We went to lunch, then shopping for my birthday present(new boots), free makeup, and some new clothes. After a nap, we still had time to study and went to bed early. We have been trying to have a "date day" FOREVER, and to have this stolen day was wonderful. And I was paid for it.

  1. OH, it sounds like a wonderful day! I'm so happy for you.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. If you notice any mistakes on my science blogs, just let me know.

  2. Clarissa, we are a bunch of labor and delivery nurses so our knowledge is in a different field, but sure...any mistakes in that area and we will let you know.

  3. Is it your birthday?!?!?! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Happy birthday to you-hoooooooooo!!!

Glad you had just the day you always wanted to have with hubby!! Yay!! take care

  4. Stolen days are the best kind! Glad you had such a nice one. It sounds like it was perfect.

  5. Kitty, my birthday was actually at the end of October, but we were never able to celebrate. But thanks for the birthday wishes!
KarenG, especially because I was paid anyway. I love being on call.

  6. PJ,
I taught my wife a long time ago that I don't have a birthDAY. I have a birthday month ( ya gotta milk it for all you can) Of course I tried to keep it within the actual month. Thanks for following my blog.

  7. PJ, we must have some genes in common. I have always told my husband the same thing. October is my month and I get my way all month. No dishes, no laundry. It is the only way to go.

  8. Fantastic! What could be better? Glad you had a good time!
