I Take It Back

Ok, I jumped to conclusions. Chapter 1 was techy hell, chapter 2 was biology heaven. He chronicled a planet from its inception through evolution to the creation of sentient beings. Much more my speed. Now I can't wait to see where he is leading with all this.

  1. Biology heaven, yep that sounds like a perfect chapter for a nurse!!

  2. A nurse who wishes she was in school learning real science instead of made up stuff in novels. But it is fun, based on the idea of truth. And who's to say that they are teaching truth in school? It is only the current best guess.

  6. Awwwww Brilliant!!!

That's more like it. What a shame that chapter 2 wasn't chapter 1 instead. I always thought that the first line let alone chapter ought to grab the reader's attention!

I'm with Niki - can't wait to find out how chapter 3 is gonna be like!

    Take care

  7. Shall we try and guess what you're reading? : j

chapter 1=> wormhole deep space travel 2=> arrival to life supporting planet with sentient life forms.
We know it Orson Scott Card, or Asimov... Hmm.

  8. Alesa, did you mean it is NOT Asimov or Card, because it isn't. I like this game.

Kitty, Chaper 1 was supposed to be full of action but I just didn't understand any of it.

  9. Yes, of course! Sorry, typoed.

You had said in the comments to the previous post that you liked Asimov and and Card; so we could assume that this author was not one of those two. But you've given it away in the comments to the latest post on this subject so the the point is moot now. : j
