Not really. Fat and no clothes fit is more like it. But will I do anything about it? Probably not. Maybe just buy more clothes. Maybe start a fad diet that will end up increasing my weight by ten pounds. What I will do is hide the scale. That should help. Of course I could swear off chocolate for one month and see what that does. I will start tomorrow.....
Yeah, yeah, the Muttie woman has been there. Do what I do when I wanna lose weight. Just eat what you catch...Milt xx
ReplyDeleteMilt, now there is a grand idea. I should race around the apartment complex three times before every meal. "Eat what you catch"...my new motto
ReplyDeletehehe That's what I say as I'm munching my way through a bag of chips... I will start tomorrow... :o)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my favorite T-shirt the one I'd by if I bought printed t-shirts. "Procrastinators unite... tomorrow."
ReplyDeleteAll I have to say is: Bon appetit! : p
LOL - yeah me too. Right after I go bake something sweet and gooey! :)
ReplyDeletemmmm......sweet and gooey.....berry cobbler here I come. Tomorrow is getting farther and farther away.
ReplyDeleteUgh why does this have to be such a problem??!! I truly want to be fat and happy, and most of the time I am (happy, I mean). I wish there were easy answers. If there were, I'd be doing them.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you are fit, how does it matter if you are fat or not? To be honest, I would hate to look like some of those stick like people I see - I am a girl, I need every one of those curves for popping out my kids, and giving them something to cuddle.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess I have to say I have the other problem. I'm thin - 4 feet 10 1/2 and weigh 89 pounds. But I think the crucial thing is strong bones. Without them, I wouldn't be able to transfer my wheelchair bound daughter.
ReplyDeleteI've tried many times in my life to GAIN weight and just can't. But as long as I'm fit. As long as you're fit, as Rayna says.
I remember cuddling into some cushiony grandmotherly bodies. I wouldn't mind someone giving me some of their lucious curves!!
Hi Rayna, you are my new best friend. "I need every one of those curves" My husband agrees with you. I would just like to tone down the curves a bit.
ReplyDeleteAnn, the grass is always greener isn't it. We fight against nature most of our life before we give up and can finally enjoy our bodies.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteSwear off chocolate?? Ooooh that's TOUGH!!!
But whatever you do, you should be happy and exhiliarated at the end of it. That's most important!
Good luck and take care

I say any excuse to buy new clothes is a good excuse! Ditch the old clothes, keep the chocolate.
ReplyDeleteCupcakes should make everything alright, no? And I'm with Ann - buy new clothes!
ReplyDeleteFighting nature. Isn't that the truth? I have eyes and no lips. I always wanted lips. For years I put on make up to emphasize the lips, and still no one noticed them.
ReplyDeleteBecause I am shallow, I read lots of fashion magazines, and from these fashion magazines I learned that every model has one feature that makes them special, like eyes or lips or feet (yes, feet). Modeling agencies even put these features on the model's information sheet.
So there you go, even fashion models don't have it all.
I can relate:) In winter, I pack on the punds like a grizzly:)
